Over the years many member of the
community have worked tirelessly to provide the village
with a highly entertaining day and the committee is
always appreciative of helping hands to set up (and
clear away!) the marquees and side shows. The committee
has also been responsible for the very successful
fireworks display and Christmas carols by the tree
evening.
Proceeds from these activities have
been use to support village organisations such as the
school, St. Mary's Church, Soar Chapel, the cricket team
and the pensioners who have also
provided us with our stunning display of spring
daffodils.
