Bowling Club

The Bowling Club is approximately 5 years old and provides the opportunity for the young and old to play grass lawn bowls. A special fund was created in the late 80's by Delyn Borough Council from the sale of various assets, including industrial units, for the purpose of providing recreational activities in the Rural Areas. Both Nercwys and Gwernymynydd received a promise of £150,000 each for this purpose which included a Bowling Green and Pavilion at Nercwys. Later in the early 90's the council made a bid for lottery help to assist in the provision of these projects throughout the Borough. Some were successful including Nercwys and these various sums were added to the special fund.

Contact Details The Nercwys bowling club also has its own team which competes with others in the local area. This also provides an opportunity for members to meet other individuals who have the same passion for the game. Committee meetings are held once per month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
